| WILD
WEST SHOOTOUT RESULTS FROM USA RACEWAY
(January
22, 2012) The Will Vaught Racing team wrapped
up the 2012 version of the 'Wild West Shootout' earlier
today with the $10,000 to win 'Bill Cheesbourg Memorial'
at the USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona. Will Vaught ran
fourth in his stacked heat race prior to grabbing the
second transfer spot through his B-Main. After starting
eighteenth in the 40-lap main event, Will was making his
move forward through the field when he unfortunately got
squeezed up into the backstretch wall. The Crane, Missouri
native was forced to retire from the 'Wild West Shootout'
finale in the twenty-fourth position. (RaceImages.net

(January 21, 2012) Round
five of the annual 'Wild West Shootout' took place earlier
today at the USA (AZ) Raceway and another $3,000 top prize
was on the line. Will Vaught appeared to have won his
heat race, but was penalized two spots for allegedly jumping
a start. Instead of returning to the track for his B-Main,
Will opted to instead load his #1 Warrior racecar and
get ready for Sunday's $10,000 to win 'Wild West Shootout'
finale.
(January 20, 2012) After
suffering a disappointing part failure in Wednesday's
show, Will Vaught rebounded nicely tonight in the fourth
leg of the 'Wild West Shootout' at the USA Raceway in
Tucson, Arizona. Will won his heat race from the third
starting spot and later rolled off from the inside of
the fourth row in the $3,000 to win main event. At the
conclusion of thirty green flag racing laps, Will had
moved up to third to finish only behind race winner Billy
Moyer and runner-up Tim McCreadie.
(January 18, 2012) The
Will Vaught Racing team returned to Dirt Late Model competition
tonight in round three of the 'Wild West Shootout' at
the USA (AZ) Raceway. Will Vaught gained four positions
in his heat race to finish in the fifth spot. He was then
leading his B-Main until a broken fan belt sent him pitside
and unfortunately kept him out of the $3,000 to win feature
event.
(January 15, 2012) Race
two of the annual 'Wild West Shootout' miniseries took
place earlier today at the USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona.
Will Vaught, fresh off his runner-up finish last night,
won his heat race in preliminary action to get round two
started on the right note. The Crane, Missouri native
then started the $5,000 to win A-Main from the outside
of the fifth row and was able to pass three competitors
during the 30-lapper en route to a solid seventh place
performance.
(January 14, 2012) Will
Vaught and his family-owned #1 team kicked off their 2012
racing season tonight at the USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona!
The 'Wild West Shootout' opener in Tucson paid $3,000
to the winner. Will advanced five positions during his
heat race to finish in the third spot behind Billy Moyer
and Travis Kay. After rolling off from the inside of the
third row in the 30-lap feature event, Will thrilled the
fans by moving all the way up to second to finish behind
only Hall of Famer Billy Moyer!
